Editor's Pick Yes, it's summer, folks. How do I know that? Well, every year around this time I go to my closet, dust off my Boston Red Sox cap and put my Celtics hat away for a long summer's nap. That's what solstice means to me. But this year I got nostalgic about a simpler time when summer meant much, much more than a wardrobe change. I remember as a young Picker, excitedly waking up on that first summer morning, going to my closet, and putting on my Red Sox cap, looking out at that world of possibility...then doing absolutely nothing. That's what summer meant to me: Days and days of nada. So kiddies, these picks are for you. Don't read both at the same time--it's summer. Pace yourselves.
Cool preview--fully animated with voice over. It's about a girl who, as the title says, feels that she's been cursed. Now, Addy, I know being a kid can be tough. But a little perspective--the curse of the Babe, that's a curse. Suck it up kid, you still have your summers. Found, now here's a freaky preview. Just when you thought airplanes were a worry-free, non-hassle, non-charging for every piece of luggage, or taking stock of everything you eat down to the last peanut, efficient, means of travel.
